Julianne is a writer, editor, author, and educator  who, after almost 20 years writing about the West in Laramie, Wyoming, transplanted to Bellevue, Iowa,where she writes about the MidWest. 

She is the author of Jukeboxes & Jackalopes: A Wyoming Bar Journey, which was published by Pronghorn Press and can be seen here.

Its photographic companion, published by the Wyoming Historical Society and featuring images by Ronald K. Hansen, can be seen here.

Her energy travelogue, Traveling the Power Line: From the Mojave Desert to the Bay of Fundy, was published  by the University of Nebraska Press in Spring 2013. It can be found at your local booksellers and at Amazon.com here, where you will also find numerous reviews.
